Email Announcement
You use this page to send out announcements. For example, you can solicit signups, remind people
to show up, and thank them afterwards. Note that clicking Send will inform you
of any email-less recipients in the message's TO-list.
PRESTO enables you to send messages with personalized content. For
example, when you send out a signup reminder, you can use the Insert recipient's
dropdown menu to cause each recipient's message to list just her own signups*.
Additionally you can:
- Identify recipients individually or based on criteria. For example,
you can use Add everyone on list->Those with Completed Signups to send only
to those who have signed up for your event.
- Save messages in the Drafts folder, and call them up for later use.
- Schedule messages for later delivery, such as signup reminders.
*Note that each such signup contains a link
to its activity's description if any. Thus if different
activities are at different locations, each such link could be used to provide
directions to its activity.
