Import People

You can register many people at once via an import file. An import file is a text file containing a table. The table's 1st line names the columns/fields in the table, and each subsequent line describes one person in terms of those fields.

This feature primarily exists to allow you to import your contact list into PRESTO, but it is also used in two other ways:

• If you plan to maintain your contact list in its current form, you will periodically need to repeat the Import to capture the changes that occur to it over time.
• If you want to add or tweak a bunch of people at once, particularly if the new information is coming from an app, doing an Import People may be more convenient than repeatedly using the Registration form.
